Need recommendations for quaint hotels/B&Bs on the East End!

I'm trying to decide where to spend our first year anniversary - I know I'm early, I still have 4 mths to go!

I'd love to stay somewhere quaint and romantic Not even too sure what's to do in the area aside from visiting the wineries - we usually hit the South Fork. We'd be there the first weekend in October.

Any suggestions appreciated

Re: Need recommendations for quaint hotels/B&Bs on the North Fork

to be honest, we're a little tired of Montauk! We've been there every year for the past 5-6 yrs, and we've run out of things to do there!

I'd like to go someplace new for our 1st anniversary

Re: Need recommendations for quaint hotels/B&Bs on the North Fork

ok, so now I'm thinking about going back to Montauk!! We haven't been there since last May, and we were do like it there.

I want to visit something other than the Montauk Manor. What's some nice places that would be nice and romantic for a 1st yr anniversary? Any good cottages? I've always wanted to stay at the Beach Plum or the one right next door - anyone been to either?

I have stayed at Panaramic view in Montauk. The view there is unbelievable. The rooms arent anthing fancy, but it is right on a hill over looking the ocean.

Re: Need recommendations for quaint hotels/B&Bs on the North Fork

Thanks everyone! I have to decide soon - our 1st anniversary is quickly approaching!

Erica - Thanks - I still can't get over that UW banned you - so stupid. They recently sent a PM to everyone that has a NW journal, saying they'd be closed if we didn't talk about wedding life and such - how much can you really chat about?! So I'm closing mine and opening an OUH journal - I can't break away just yet
