get a plolaroid camera and take oics of each guest and have them write well wishes to the bride/mom to be. This was she will have a nice memory of her special day

My bridal party did this for me and it is one of the best gifts I ever got

One of my bridesmaids was taping my entire shower and when I asked her whose camera it was she said it was another bridesmaids. After I had opened all my gifts my girls said your not finished you have one more gift and handed me the video camera It was my gift from my bridal party

Stacey,thats what happened at my shower.My mom was using the video camera she had bought for us.I couldn't believe it.

Stef made sure that my sister got me an apron that all my guests signed. Also, all the flowers used on the tables were what was going to be in my boo-k and centerpieces! That was a really nice touch.

one of my BM's got a wooden pizza paddle and come color paint pens and had everyone sign it when they came in. Then after the shower, she sealed it with varnish. Its so nice to look back and read everything that people wrote and think about the day!

I love the idea of the polorid pictures. You can take a picture of each woman with the bride. That would be a great keepsake!

From a guest point of view, one of the things I enjoy is when there are games that involve the guest. For example, BINGO. Each guest gets a bingo card with the name of items off of the registry. And small prizes go to the winner(s). This helps keep eveyone involved.

My MOH did the poloroid guest book which is a nice keepsake.

She put the shower together around a LOVE theme which was fabulous. There was nothing white at my shower (i dont like white weddingish stuff at showers), she made arranged the centerpieces herself with 2 dozen long stem roses each from the flower market, she handmade the tablecloth overlays in squares of pink and red silk organza, she did a ton of stuff that made is special b/c I knew she put so much of her time and effort into it.

My BP incorporated M&M's that were my wedding colors into the decorations. It was a small detail, but it was very special to me. I believe they purchased them at Dillard's candy Store. They also have them at the Toys R Us in times square.

The theme for my shower was cooking/food-- so each table had a different theme/centerpiece basket(for instance the baking table had a centerpiece basket wtih tons of baking things, each member of that table got a baking favor) and my wishing well was for Chef Jeremy ( he is the cook in our house)
There were cards on the table that had different tidbits of info on us(how we met, info about BP, etc)
They mailed recipe cards with invite and assured that they would get them back by included a SASE so I got tons of them
Love teh shower cleaner poem-- as well as I just did a candle poem for one of my BM at her shower and that went over great-- I enjoyed it more than the cleaner poem--

We had a TON of games (compliments of my friend Jamelle) going on at once. Like Bingo, etc. People were so into winning the gifts, it kept everyone interested (and a little competitive ). Practically everyone walked away with something, which was neat!
