The first picture is the 3rd crater of Volcán Irazú. The second one is Volcano Arenal. It is very active and that is the view that you see every night (when it is clear)

Swags, they're beautiful. I like the picture of the Irazu volcano. And the other one is that that deep well inside the crater? Are the beach pictures from Jaco Beach?Thank you so much for posting them and it was nice to meet you in person
BTW, Curly, the hurricane season doesn't affect the pacific side of Costa Rica, so you still have time to change your mind

Re: Alina-- Some of My Costa Rica pictures.
Costa Ricans consider themselves the loved because the hurricanes always seem to miss Costa Rica! The beach pictures are Playa Hermosa near Jacó. We only walked around in the town of Jacó we stayed 10 minutes outside of is so that it was quieter!
The crater is one of three that Irazú has. The one with the water is the newest. I think I posted on of the pictures standing above the volcano which is 10,000 feet up.
The other water ones and the hot springs are all Tabacon!!!!

I will see if I can scan some more when I get home tonight. I have the ruins of the oldest church in Cartago. The highest point in CR, the scary bridge.

Cartago is in Central Costa Rica. About 40 minutes or so outside San José. More towards the Caribbean side but Central.Welcome New Vendors
