Re: wedding day nails..advice on timing and location
I would go the night before so you don't have to worry about smudges, etc.

I had my nails done the day before. You don't want to have to run out on your wedding day. You should be home that day and have everyone cater to you.

Re: wedding day nails..advice on timing and location
I had the same dilemma. But my problem is that I can't wash my hair w/o my nailpolish chipping. So Jennifer from Fairytale Makeovers said she would take care of my nails for me. I don't know if she is doing it herself when she does my hair and makeup or if she is bringing someone with her, but it'll be done that morning.

How about in the middle??My lovely ladies at NailPort in Hicksville.
They are a hysterical group, and do an AMAZING job. My mom and I have been going to them for years. (they're closing the place down for me and my wedding party!!)
They are on Jerusalem Ave. in the Scattoro shopping center about 2 mi. north from Hempstead Tpke. 516-942-0999

Hi, I would also get my nails done the day before. BUT, I go to Hi Tek nails on Gardiners Ave. in Levittown. I'd make an appointment with Crystal or Kevin.

Re: wedding day nails..advice on timing and location
I get my nails done at Salon D'Arel in East Meadow on nOrth Jeruslaem Ave, Lana does my nails and she does great work. I like the idea that I can communicate with her, and have been using them for years, they are also doing my hair and make up for the day of the wedding. Levittown is right down the block from there. If you want more info FM mail me.

Re: wedding day nails..advice on timing and location
i would say the day before...there are so many things that you need to do...and you can't waste 45 min (b/c of tackiness of the polish) for the polich to dry...it will really be less agita...have someone else wash your hair...if its a big concern
