Today is my first day gown shopping! Updated!!!

I'm excited - but not as excited as I feel I should be! I'm going just to get an idea of what styles look good and bad on me. I'm also gonna try and sneak in a camera I'm bringing my two strapless bras - one regular one that goes down to your tummy - and wearing my lovley boy shorts so no one scoped out my rumpus

Any other ideas or tips??

Ooooh! Have a blast! Bring a bottle of water...and an open mind. Things that you thought would look fabulous might not look as good as you imagined. I went in thinking ivory was *the* color for me...only to find that white looked WAY better.

The first time I went shopping I was so nervous. I don't know why. But once I tried on the first dress, I got all excited

BTW Marcela - I read your post about names and I thought it was also pronounced Markela! lol It's Marsela right? with an s sound?

YESSSSS HAIR STUFF!!!!!! Just put that in my bag!

I also brough a 'must wear' piece of Jewlery! Last Christmas, my FI bought me pearls to wear on my wedding day - he knew how much I loved pearls but didn't own any real ones He's such a cutie!

Try on everything even if you think you'll hate it. My mom insisted that I try on this one dress and I said ok just to appease her. Well, that was the dress that I bought.

I would bring the necklace but maybe not wear it - with putting all the dresses over your head and the crinolines and everything they might get caught and you wouldn't want to break it - I would bring it and put it on while you have the dress on so you can see then take it right off

Definitley - I'm so affraid of breaking it! I love it - its so beautiful!

Ok I have hair, camera, undergarments, jewlery and a fresh manicure and pedicure

Oh yeahhhh - a pad to write down styles numbers for!

wear slip on shoes and a shirt that you can put on -off easily--have fun--try on everything--every style!
