Hey, from what I read on these boards, I don't think I'm going to read that James Patterson book, Beach House.

Any suggestions!! I'm going crazy without a book to read. I'd like a really good mystery/thriller!

PS: The book of the month, Tuesdays with Morrie...amazing! I loved it.

kathy...have you ever read Dean Koonz? He is a pretty intense mystery writer

also Nelson Deville? DH likes him

Some of my favorite are James Grippando, Dan Brown (The Da Vinci Code is great), Sara Paretsky, Perri O'Shougnessy, Lee Child, Sue Grafton, Linda Fairenstein, Michael Connelly, Lisa Scottlione, Jonathan Kellerman, Nevada Barr, Robert Crais.... can you tell I LOVE mysteries!!!!

Greg Isles books are the can't put down type! He has a new one out but I have forgotten the name.

John Sanford is also pretty good. He has a series it is called the 'prey' series. Good books

Dean Koontz is great. Try picking up Intensity. I was seriously scared when I read it.
