Tip for Brides to Be!!

Hi girls,

Just a little tip for your receptions. We had a guest platter and a marriage advice jar. While we got a lot of signatures and advice, it was not nearly as much as we thought we'd get. Some people told us they didn't KNOW there was a guest platter or advice jar. They were on the SAME table as the placecards, and we thought it would be pretty obvious. But I think people just try to find their names and move along.

So I think it would be a good idea to have your DJ make an announcement at some point to inform your guests that there is a platter/book for them to sign, and any other special things you may want them to participate in. I wish we had done it.
