Is anyone good at writing?

My friend needs a letter of resignation and asked me to write it..
I would personally Say F*** off.
But that is me!

Anyone that could help me..
I would appreciate it!

You should leave the letter nice as not to burn bridges just in case she needs them for references in the future. Why is she leaving. I would normally mention that in the letter in some way.

I regret to inform you that I will be to giving my resignation today. My last day of work will be 7/3/03.

While I have enjoyed working here, I feel it is time for me to move on to (insert whatever here).

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for a wonderful experience. I hope to take the knowledge that I gained from this position and use it towards my career.

this is the letter I wrote when I moved out of state...the union told me to put 'personal family reasons' since I wasn't leaving for another job---I didn't want to burn any bridges


Dear Mr. X

It is with regret that I submit this letter of resignation, effective XXX for personal family reasons.

It has been my genuine pleasure to work for XYZ during these last three years. I have enjoyed working with XYZ's fine staff of professionals and colleagues, and will miss my associations here. I wish you and XYZ continued success in all your endeavors.

If I may be of any assistance in the hiring process or training of my replacement, please know that I will gladly make myself available to this effort during the next seven weeks.

Thank you for allowing me to serve XYZ. Again, I wish XYZ continued sucess.
