maybe some fun stuff like crayons and coloring books (depending on how old the kids are)

this way they can have fun, be occupied and may even serve as a fun favor for the kids.

I got really great kits at a dollar store near my mother for the kids. They were great. The kids kept making 'cards' and stuffing them into my overflowing birdcage which held all the cards. They were so cute!

tell me more about these kits/ favors//I havent seen any at my dollar store..where else could I look? I like the idea of a the childresn favors..that very cute..I hadnt even thought of ding a separate table for them..whata great idea!
