Re: programs...I need some good advice for a dumb question...

I think you can use regular copy paper for the programs formatted for landscape printing. If there is a graphic on the cover you could use matte photo paper for the cover page.

Re: programs...I need some good advice for a dumb question...

you can use 67 lb. paper.. abd then use a ruler to score the paper into 3 sections, then fold the paper and then tie a ribbon around it..

OR..

you can buy the paper at staples..

I have to make my own b/c I need ivory and no one sells ivory tri-fold paper =(

Re: programs...I need some good advice for a dumb question...

I'm using 80lb card stock for the cover. . .then I'm using 1 sheet of vellum and bright white photo paper for the rest.

Here's the cover paper:

Oh yeah, I had the paper scored at Kinko's.

Re: programs...I need some good advice for a dumb question...

I am planning on making ours myself, and the format I am playing with is the legal size cardstock, the paper is longer than 8x11 (I think its 8x14). I will fold that into thirds, and hold together with ribbon. I am going to start them as soon as we finalize our readings.

Re: programs...I need some good advice for a dumb question...

Thanks for the compliment!

I actually didn't use a hole puncher at all. I just tied it around the paper sort of tightly so that it won't slip off.

And ladies . . .DON'T BE NERVOUS! I don't have a creative bone in my body . . . well, that is . . .until I started looking through some of these threads! YOU CAN DO IT!
