Re: Nice baby furniture site
I almost bought a Bonavita -- the Monica -- but ended up with a Pali, which is almost identical to the Bonavita one. They have some really nice cribs out there, too bad my taste ran to the 'high side'!! LOL Which can be ridiculous when you think of how long they are in a crib, but hey, you only live once, right?

Re: Nice baby furniture site
Paul's crib is a Bonavita crib, too! It's called the EuroLife crib. For over $600, I wouldn't consider it a 'low-end' piece of furniture, tho.

Re: Nice baby furniture site
Jenny, I got the Pali Laurie in natural. We went to Behr's and it was about $500. We shopped around and that was the best price.Like I said, there are some really nice styles out there and it's very hard to finally make your choice! Good luck and happy shopping!!

Re: Nice baby furniture site
Claud, after hearing of moms spending over $2-3,000 on cribs, Bonavita's are just pocket change!
ETA: Jenn, I was going to get the 'Rosemary' by Sorelle, but I felt it was a little more on the feminine side, when I need 'neutral', so the one I got is very similiar, just doesnt have that double-bar on the sides (if that makes sense
)ETA again: Make sure the hardware doesnt show. I think it was a Sorelle (not positive) that the guy at the store showed me how the hardware showed, and it was unappealing. you can see everything from the ads - check em out in person!)

Re: Nice baby furniture site
Anna, thanks for the tip. We are leaning very heavily toward the Sorelle Maxine. I've seen it in person, but before I order it I'm going to check to make sure the hardware doesn't show. I didn't notice it, but that's probably because I wasn't looking for it.

Re: Nice baby furniture site
I haven't picked out a darn thing yet
I did however order a co-sleeper so he will be in that in the beginning but I still have to get in gear and order a crib and the rest of his furniture

Re: Nice baby furniture site
I have never personally heard of anyone spending $2-3K on a crib, so I guess my perspective is skewed
But, with that as an example - then yes, Bonavita = low end!
