Peanut's Non-Stress Test Stressed Mommy Out!!!! (vent)

Arghhhhhhh what a day!!!!!!!! First, I had my OB appt. - STILL 1 cm!! That's 5 weeks at 1 cm. So much for progression!!

Then, off to LIJ (which I'm starting to HATE!!) for another ultrasound - to check fluid - and my 2nd non-stress test. Sooooooo, after waiting 1 1/2 hours to be SEEN, they finally hook me up to the monitor. What should have been 20 minutes turned into 35 (I swear they forgot about me!!)...

Anyway, Peanut's heartrate dipped too many times and got down to 92 at one point so off to L&D I go for MORE monitoring!!! AN HOUR AND A HALF MORE!!! Mind you, I'm on one of those rock hard beds, and 'could you lay on your right side?' Are you people kidding me?!

My appt. was at 1:15 and I didn't leave LIJ until 6:30 - so frustrating!! I'm a very impatient patient!!


What matters most is Peanut's juuuuuust fine.

Awwwww.Kathi you need some hugs big time. Yeah sure, make a 9+month pregnant lady lay on a hard bed for that long. Dumb jerks!! Now I feel better too!

Glad to hear that everything is okay, but sorry to hear what they put you though to find it out. Sorry too about the dilation not being more. But look on the bright side. By this time next week Peanut will be here and you will be a Mommy.

Aww Kathi...I look every day to see if Peanut has arrived yet! WHen you do have the baby and pick out a name, you will probably slip and call him / her Peanut!!

Once again, you ladies are the bestest!!!! You always make me 'feel the love'!! This board has helped me so much, I don't know what I would have done w/out my LIW friends.

I've just cleaned out the refrigerator (for the 2nd time this month)... finishing up some laundry, and I'll vacuum & dust later! I kinda forgot that family will be all over my house next week and there's no way Steve's gonna clean. HEHE!!!

Erica, Monday it is. Happy 1st Anniversary!! I can't imagine spontaneous labor at this point. I almost feel a sense of relief *knowing* that I'll be 'in labor' Sunday night!

It's so incredibly exciting, I can hardly contain myself. I have the same woozy feeling in my stomach that I had just before my wedding. I'm gonna be a mommy in 3 days (or sooner)!! YAY Peanut!!!!!
