How do you know what type of veil will look good with your gown?

When I bought my dress a few weeks ago, I decided not to buy the veil and tiara bc they were a little bit pricey for me. I want to look at other places, and I have a picture of the dress. How do you decide what will work without trying the dress on?

i have a picture of the dress and an idea in my head every time i go looking for tiaras and veils.

there is also a website - princess tiaras where they have an explanation of which veils look good with which type of gown.

my gown has a deatiled back panel to cover over the hooks that close it and a ball skirt - so i am looking for an elbow length veil that won't cover the detailed panel and won't overpower the skirt.

it also has to do with height....i am only 5'3', so it is also not suggested that i wear a long veil....which might overpower me.

but it is also about your personal preference and what you like on ourself. it's a tough choice - i've been owrking on it for at least a month now!

I just ordered my dress yesterday. They had a vail that was absolutely perfect! It had a subtle edge detail that picked up a detail in my dress. I bought it that day as well!

Yes, with a picture of your dress any store assistante can help you. I got my veil on line, because it was the only place that could match the color of my dress, and the prices was just great. I sent a picture of my dress to the woman, and I told her what I wanted/had in mind, and she guided me through the process of getting my veil. Good luck!
