Taking Charge of Your Fertility
I just got the book last night, and wow - there's a lot of information in there. I made the mistake of opening it up on the subway - Hello 'Cervical Mucus'!!! Not a public read.Ok, so did anyone here chart as outlined in the book? Was it really helpful? I want to do it just because I'm curious and not even TTC yet. But the cervix part gave me pause - not sure I'm ready for that yet. (can you tell I'm Catholic? Thank you Sister Mary for making me squeamish about my body!)

Re: Taking Charge of Your Fertility
I've read it and I chart. It's useful to get to know your body. I didn't do the CP check. It helped b/c when I went to my doc and told her we were not having success TTC -- I had my charts from the last three months to show her and she was able to take action on that rather than waiting a full year to see why we weren't getting PG.
We're still not PG but the info and the charting are useful tools.

Re: Taking Charge of Your Fertility
I charted and used www.fertilityfriend.com to keep track on my info (free site, or you can pay for analysis etc..) I was pregnant within 3 months. My main reason for charting was to also have info in case we had trouble TTC. It was amazing to find out so much about my body that no doctor ever even told me!!

Re: Taking Charge of Your Fertility
I read it and I chart as well. And no, I don't do the CP check, LOL.Like Stef28, it helped me because I came off the pill almost a year ago and got my period normally for 2 months, then it stopped completely. Charting has helped me to see I do not ovulate (no temp shift at all) and now that we are TTC, we were able to use this info and my doc knew what steps to take. I will now start Clomid next month.

Re: Taking Charge of Your Fertility
I did the same as Michele31, and for the same reason. We got pregnant the second month I charted because according to my chart I didn't ovulate that first month.Welcome New Vendors
