we had my brother's @ that place on South Oyster Bay Road it was called 'Kenny's Cafe'' Now it's like 'Mary's Backyard' or something! But it was perfect!

I am looking for a little fancier than BK Sweeney's and Singleton's. Somewhere that has outside potential maybe. The dinner will be 10/4 so we may luck out with nice weather. I'm not sure if traveling to Bayville or Freeport is too far.

hmmmm... lemme think about it! I know 56th Fighter group is in Farmingdale on 110, but let me do some investigating for you.

How about Cafe Testarrossa in Syosset. Its on Jericho Tpke just of the 135.

Fox Hollow in Woodbury has a few small rooms - but is that too fancy for an RD?

Otherwise Cafe Testerossa is a good bet!

Peppercorn's in Hicksville has great food. I would also highly recommend HR Singletons. There is a restaurant in Hicksville also on Woodbury Road called Jonathan's. The most amazing meal I have ever eaten there. They may be a little high pricewise though. As far as the old Kenny's Cafe is concerned, I ate there after the name changed, not nearly as good. Sorry so long, I work in Hicksville, sooooo

Yeah, it's tough. That isn't really an outside neighborhood. It is a land of parking lots.

I know of a italian restaurant in hicksville, the food is really good but there is no outside. It's on 106/107 called La' Primavera
