Great Book to read to the babies!
My sister recommended this book and bought it for Ryan - it's a bit of a higher reading level, but perfect for Mommy to read to her baby (of any age!) - it brought tears to my eyes - "The Kissing Hand" - here's the amazon summary...The Kissing Hand

I am an elementary school librarian, so if any of you EVER need suggestions, please ask away...
I read The Kissing Hand to incoming Kindergarteners, and then we make a picture of their hands with hearts in the center...this helps parents too with the separation anxiety!! A wonderful story!!!

Re: Great Book to read to the babies!
I figured anyone who is a teacher would know this book! My sister is a teacher...she taught kindergarten for two years and now teaches 4th grade. She gets tons of books for Ryan through Scholastic...I'm very lucky to have her and her "connections".
I can't wait to read this one to him all the time!!

Re: Great Book to read to the babies!
Michelle .... Anyone can buy through Scholastic!! Their website is fantastic w/ tons of inexpensive paperbacks, ideas & resources. It's kid & parent friendly as well as a great site for teachers!!! The scholastic store is open for ALL business. Check it out ... its a great alternative to buying books from book stores where they are very expensive!

Re: Great Book to read to the babies!
The site says that only educators can purchase from them and that you need verification. Maybe they just say that?

Re: Great Book to read to the babies!
Ok ... I see it. But I can't get to the end of the site b/c my computer won't let me go there. Honestly, I've never encountered a problem with them, but if they're asking for "verification" .... its no problem! If I can be of any help with info that may be needed to order ... FM me ... I'll tell you how to answer those questions!
