Leaving for Vegas Thursday night

I am so excited to leave for Vegas this Thursday. It is DH and my first time and we are staying for 6 nights at the MGM Grand.

Aside from having restaurant reservations at Emeril's.. is there anything else you guys could recommend?

Has anyone done the Jeep Red Rock tour?

Have fun and try to see as much as you can… Also go to the Belliago for a buffet.. Totally worth it.. Also do a search I just did a whole Vegas review with resturants…Also go to the Venetain...

Dina! have fun
Try going to the tournament of kings show- excalibur

a gondala ride at the venetian
and the forum shops at caesars

PS: Vegas is fun to scrap! I just did three pages the other nite

I'd definately walk up & down the strip.
Go into the different hotels & look at their lobbies/attractions.

Take a ride on a gandola atthe venetian.

watch the water/light show outside the bellagio.

go on NY NY rollercoaster

go on the stratosphere coasters.

there is a light show dowtown at night.

There is a great steakhouse I ate at, I forget the name, a bit pricey but well worth it.

Maybe do the helicopter tour of the hoover ****/grand canyon

I am leaving for Vegas on SUnday!!

I would recommend going to a CIrque Du SOleil Show if you can get tickets, Mystere and 'o' are great.

The Buffet at MGM was really good, we got coupons form teh hotel, and we ate there so much.

Also we really like Madame Tussaud's and going to the top of the Eiffel tower.

The Forum shops at Cesear's was good to, even if you don't shop in the stores.

Have a great time while you are there.

We were thinking of doing that Jeep tour of Red Rock.. DH is DYING to see the desert :).. why, I don't know- it's going to be as hot as the surface of the sun... yuck.

I am so PSYCHED.

Has anyone been to any of the Spas there? Any recommendations?

Ride the Manhattan Express Roller Coaster at NY NY.

If you want to do the Gondola at Venetian, get there FIRST THING IN THE MORNING to put your name on the waiting list, odds are, you'll get on by later that evening. No joke, the list is THAT long.

Eat at the Buffet at Bellagio for at least one meal, it's SO good. Dinner at this buffet is mind boggling, the Food Network just did a special on it.

If you want the best Mexican food of your life, and the YUMMIEST margaritas, go to Ricardos at the MGM Grand, it's actually right next to Emeril's.

Also make sure to see the pirate battle outside of Treasure Island, and the Volcano erupting at the Mirage.

If you go to the Eiffel tower at night, do not go down until you see the water show at the Bellagio across the street. It is so cool from up there and you can hear the music. If you want to take pictures form up there us really high speed film, all my pics have light trails.

Go on a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon! Eat at the restaurant on top of the Rio! The food is amazing and the view is incredible! Go for a gondola ride at the Venetian and a roller coaster ride at NYNY!

I will take TONS of pictures... My DH wants to rent a 4x4 and tool around the desert. I'm not thrilled about this but what can you do.

The Pirate battle in front of Treasure island is NOT there anymore.. Treasure island has retired the pirate….so do not make the trip down there….

Have a wonderful time! You should visit the other hotels....the venetian is my favorite and mandalay bay is gorgeous. We stayed here and the pool looks like a beach. I would recommend seeing a show too.
