Hotel Blocks How far in advance can u book?

and also anyon know of hotels close to roslyn besides the roslyn clarmont im afraid it might be to expensive but i dont want my guest to drive to far!

I blocked rooms about 6 months in advance.

I started blocking at a year - actually, one week less than a year so you should be able to block now! And the cheapest rate I got for next June is $139 a night . Hope that helps!

Most hotels will do a year in advance. I think we did ours around 8 months.

Depends on the hotel. Call them. We went last week and our wedding is at the end of April and they said to call them in August to book the rooms.

I booked my block at Roslyn Claremont (where i'm also having reception) a year in advance. I think the discount for rooms in the block is $149/night. They'll put a certain amount on hold for you. If they get booked up, you can add rooms. If they aren't booked up by a certain date (a week before? two weeks before? sorry i forget!) they release the rooms. it's pretty fair deal.

We blocked our hotels about 5 months before but I would do it before that. I stayed at the East Norwich Inn the night before my wedding and it's not that far from Roslyn. I got married at the Swan Club and the drive to there was about 15 minutes. The East Norwich Inn is a cute place, and very clean!

Same as eroxgrl. I blocked a year in advance. You should be able to call now. When I starting looking I was told to wait until a year before so the rooms would be in the system. Some need a week or two after the year mark (like mine).

I am having my wedding at the Swan Club in Roslyn and started to look at the Harrison Conference Center to block off rooms. The place is beautiful. I haven't spoken to the individual in charge of blocking off rooms yet so I don't know many details but you should just check it out! Hope this helps...
