OMG I just went on Wedding channel.com HOW RUDE!!!!!!!

I wanted to look at Wedding dresses. So they have this whole thing that says u can set up a model that looks just like you. So I do that and I set up my pasword and everything and then this is what it says :

We're sorry.

Im SO MAD And upset....
I wish I could be a size 14 but im not that much bigger and I am very short (4'10) I cant belive that. Thats RUDE!

They did that to me too, they need to get with the program and realize that not everyone is a size 2 to 14.

It is rude, but the program Sucks anyway. Have you done the virtual model on lanebryant.com? It's the same thing, but I think the lane bryant ones are more realistic, and they're pretty crappy too. A few of my friends were playing around with the WC program, and were horrified with what they were supposed to look like.
So, rude, yes, but look at it as a blessing in disguise. If I saw their virtual model of how I was supposed to look like, I'd never want to go dress shopping, much less wear a big white dress - ever.

but the ones on Lane Bryant dont show a model looking heavy and then say o we only cater to sizes 2-14. Lane Bryant is fo people size 14 and up. why make me go through the whole thing then. And there are dresse out there for girls all the way up to sizes 24. Not everyone is blessed to be skinny. I thinks its VERY RUDE!!!! BOYCOTT

I think they are screwed up. They used to be realistic when you would enter in your height, measurements and body type. Now they want your weight and height. I look nothing like the model they generated.

Yikes...sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. I'm plus size too, and was just stating my previous experience with the program.
I do agree though, weddingchannel.com is wrong, and should have a program that would work for everyone.

I did it also, and the model was gross looking. Plus, the style of dress I ended up with looked terrible on the model. I wouldn't even worry, you didn't miss much.

Kris.. have you picked out your dress yet??

Don't worry about what they say.. I am not a size 14 either... and for a site to 'cater' to women in special categories is definately rude and discriminating! I wouldnt let it ruffle my feathers though.. I know my dress doesnt look like it does on the model, but I know it looks gorgeous on me... And thats what matters.. No matter what the size is!!!! Your dress will look awesome on you and even a computer model wouldnt look as stunning as you will be on your day... As far as the WC... I would tell tehm to pucker up and kiss it!!
