Wedding Review East Wind Estate 7-20-03
What a day to remember. I was calm as can be. I actaully got 8-9 hours of sleep the night before. Our church was at 3:00 pm. We finally got out of there at 4 and off to the East Wind Estate.
We took all the bridal party pictures, our pictures and our family pictures before the cocktail hour at 6 pm. I enjoyed the whole cocktail hour.
The East Wind Estate Cocktail hour is INCREDIBLE! All the guest were very very pleased with the food. After the cocktail hour we got announced into the hall (7pm). I sware I was waiting for this moment my whole life.
The night was PERFECT! We actaully made it around to 19 tables, ate, drank, partied and danced all night long! I remember everything about the whole wedding. We used all the East Wind House vendors. I was very satisfied with all of them. When I was on the dance floor, I looked around and it was packed and so was the bar. When I was at the bar, it was packed and so was the dance floor.
I really didn't cry too much, except my dance with my dad - that killed me. Other than that I was smiling the whole day. ALL my hard work with the planning and details all paid off.
We got so many phones the next day about how wonderful the day was.
My MOH caught the bouquet and her boyfriend caught the garder - very cool.
I couldn't have asked for a more nicer day.
We went to Sandals St. Lucia for our honeymoon - I wish I as still there!
I just got my proofs - they came out wonderful!
I am still in wedding mode!
More good news... my sister in law just called...her and my brother are having a baby - MORE EXCITEMENT!!!
Girls I wish you all the best. This board is wonderful, everyone has such positive things to say and great advice. My advice hang in there, sometimes take a step back and look around, smile this all about you and your finance!

Re: Wedding Review East Wind Estate 7-20-03
Congrats!!Thanks for the review. My FI and I are seriously considering having our 2004 wedding at The Estate. We are still torn between them and The Miller Place Inn.
May I ask which photographer you used?
I went to the Bridal Show at East Wind last night but there were so many people I didn't have time to speak to anyone for very long. Needless to say we are still lokking for:
1) Photographer
2) DJ
3) Florist
4) Limos
WOW...I better get moving!
Thanks!

Re: Wedding Review East Wind Estate 7-20-03
Thank you so much.RasckalbrideI used Their house vendors:
DJ; Tommy tunes - was awesome everyone danced all night long. The age groups were from late 20's-early 30's then 50's. $1600
ADA - Great job my proofs came out so nice $3000 we got the top package.
JR Video - great I can't wait to get the uneditted version! $1500 with an assistant, 3 videos and DVD plus all that lighting stuff
Sir Oliver - Awesome. My BP also used them for my bachelorette party. $1600 for the Rolls, 36 pass limo, and a parent limo with a pick up
With All my Heart: Al the for flowers (wedding party 8girls, 8 guys, FG RB) parents, readers, grandparents, church and cake, cake topper, treassure box, pew bows, bells for the church, favors and all those little details. It was $2800 but I got everything!
I hope this helps.

Re: Wedding Review East Wind Estate 7-20-03
Thank you for the reviews - it's a BIG help!I like the idea of using the 'house vendors' - I think it makes things a little easier.
I'm so happy to hear everything went wonderful at your wedding.
We are also considering Tommy Tune's for our DJ, they seemed really nice at the show last night and it's reassuring to hear that they kept the dance floor packed (VERY important).
Please post photo's so we can all see!
Thanks again!
