What date is appropriate to send out STD's?

Any info on this? I am coming up on exactly a year and am interested in sending them out. Thanks.

Good question Larryswife, I was thinking the same thing! A friend of mine got married in Canada and sent hers 8 months in advance in the form of a brochure with a list of hotels, driving directions, flight info, area attractions and a tentative itinerary for her wedding weekend. I booked my hotel room as soon as I got the brochure.

I'm interested to see what everyone else says....

I sent mine out today!!!!! My wedding is in 9 months and 2 days!

I think anywhere from 6-9 months is good. I sent mine out six months before. But I had wanted to send them out 8 month before. I was just too busy.

We're just sending ours out this week and we're getting married May 30th. I would have liked to send them about 10 months in advance because it's the holiday weekend, but you know how things happen....
If invitations are supposed to be 3 months in advance, I would think that anywhere from 7+ months would be good. FH's cousin sent theirs out a year in advance. I think you can wait a month or two if you want, no rush, but if you have them, go ahead and send them!

I planned on sening mine out by August 1, then it got pushed up and I wanted to send them out by this week, but again its getting pushed uo and I hope to have them out by next week or so...

Oh by the way, my wedding is 6/04.

I think the sooner the better!!!

I think you can send them out as soon as you know your date. People will want to know so they don't run into a conflict. I know as a guest I would want to know as soon as possible.

I am sending mine same time I do thank yous from e-party...it'll be about 11 month before wedding.

I just sent out thank u's from my e party last weekend. I think I'm going to send my cards out in January. Im going to send them out next month, because I am getting married on a very busy weekend next year (labor day) things will start booking up. Thanks for the help
