I know in the city (Fashion District) there is a place where a bunch of wedding designers are located in the same building-- you can have your dress made by any of them... My girlfriend had this done- brought in pictures she liked and had the sleeve from one dress used, the bottom of another used, and the train/bustle from another one... if you're interested, I'd be happy to ask her where this building is specifically.
