I have been so wrapped up in things I forgot what really matters....

MY DRESS! I am going shopping for the first time tomorrow, CAN'T WAIT. I am going to a few places in Nassau!! Ladies, any advice or helpful hints. I am just bringing one person, my sister cause I read on a prior post that too many turns into a circus!!

Just bring a lot of pictures of styles you like (to give them ideas on what to pull for you), an open mind (cause you might wind up loving a dress on you that you hated in pics) and water.

I'd suggest wearing/bringing a strapless bra, nude hose, maybe shoes of a similar height to what you think you'll wear that day. Keep an open mind, try everything on they suggest. Don't get frustrated if you don't find 'the one' right away, just enjoy the process! Great idea to bring only your sister!

Dress shopping is the best part - have a great time!!

HAve fun and take pictures. It really helped me a lot to take pictures in every dress. This way I saw what I really looked like and I decided whether I likes a dress or not.

Listen to the sales assistant, and try to get an apt with Lillettes Bridal in Baldwin
I wenth there with one dress style in mind, and after trying on lots, the assistant asked me to try one she thought I might like - thats the one I got

I agree with the other replies
Bring a scrapless bra, shoes, camera. Also, I don't know your wedding date, but it's the summer right now and you might be tan or really tan. Take that into consideration when your trying on the dress. Try on every dress you pick. Even if you like the 1st one you try on, try them all on. Oh another thing.... remember if it has crinoline and you don't want it, they can take it out. They can put straps on strapless dresses.
Just some tips I has when I went.

Thanks ladies, I am too excited!! Lillettes- I tryed making an appt. but they were booked. About the tan- I am an irish redhead so I have to fake it a little bit! I was going to put a fake one on- maybe I should have!!
