Liz, the easiest marinade on the face of the earth that requires NO work is Jim Beam Kentucky Bourbon BBQ sauce. They sell it in the supermarket. It is SOOO good on steaks!

For chicken I like to season boneless skinless cutlets with salt/pepper/garlic and then marinade overnight with either balsamic vinegar or white white and a little bit of olive oil. Or when I am making kabobs on the grill I season them with the same stuff and then marinade in pinapple juice. Soooyummy. I skewer them with pinapple and marachino cherries. Very very yummy in the summer.

I try all the ones in the supermarket - so many different types. But a simple one that I do myself and is so yummy and takes two seconds. I marinade meat in Teriyaki sauce and mashed garlic. I like a lot of black pepper and even a little red pepper - but tastes fine with out it. I esp. like this on London Broil or any beef.

I use Asian Plum sauce on chicken and pork that you can buy in the Asian food section of the supermarket. Just pour it from the jar into a ziplick bag, add meat and cook when you get home from work. I usually serve it with yellow rice and a veggie. Simple, quick and delicious.
