booked our photographer!!! and video.
Finally we booked. Joe Pacifico from BrettMatthews. We love their work. I am very upset about on thing though
FH and I thought that he said we get 3 dvds one for us one for each set of parents. When we said ok to everything he wrote up the contracts and it said 1 DVD and 2 VHS. FH has a dvd burner and could burn it,but not the point. Neither one of us can swear he said this but why would we both think he said it? when we asked about it he said o no its 1 dvd and 2 vhs. We signed the contract and everything like and idiot....
O well im happy about booking though im sure that we love everything and its not the end of the world that the parents get vhs who cares right?

congrats!- at other video places it has been 1 dvd and 2 vhs also. i didnt care to upgrade theirs cause i figure its nice they're getting a video in the first place

I really like B rett M atthews. I'm not sure which photographer is my favorite because we met with Rich and picked two albums we liked. he didn't tell us their names.Still deciding - they do great work but are a bit pricey. It's not that I don't want to spend the $4300 but I wanted more included.
Were you able to negotiate any extras such as some 5 x7 or 8x10s???

I agree with u. VERY PRICEY!!!!! not very open to negotiate. We looked at lots of other photographers and I was a photo major in college so I found somethingnwrong with everyone except them. We met Joe Pacifico tonight And he is GREAT!

Kristen...the EXTACT SAME thing happened to me, but with another photographer. I too was disappointed!

jenn- very true...i just looked at my contract..
its 12 5 x 5's, not 12 5 x 7's for the parents(not like i care) just weird i didnt recognize

Harsh way to learn that lesson.. sorry to hear that.Congrats on the booking though.. one less thing to worry about.

jennbaby I did read before I signed! I questioned him and he said no it was 3 vhs not 3 dvds. We cant call him a liar and fight with him....
