Who is doing your hair for the wedding and why?jennifer from fairytale is booked!
. I need help..have no clue who to go to for hair.I want somebody GOOD..I dont mind paying..I just want it to be worth it.
Can you give me a name and a contact number, price if ya know? Please..I aprreciate anything..I need help!!!

I got my hair and make up done at Harvey's in Cedarhurst. Mimi did my hair ($60) and Elisa did my makeup ($40). #516 569-5050 and they are open 7 days a week. I was really pleased with them.

I booked Denise Venti for hair. I went to her for a trial a few days ago and she did an amazing job on my hair.

I'm using Julissa from La Combe. She is awesome and is extremely creative
I have tons of hair and she did a great job with it.

As it stands now A freind of mine who is a haridresser and has recently become mine- will be doing my hair. Hope this doesnt change.I am not sure yet who will be doing my make-up. I always said I would do it myself- b/c honestly (not braggin) I do an awesome job on my face
But I am not sure if I want to make sure a professional can make it last through out the 12 hour day or more day.....

I am using Karen from Joseph Peters in Queens. She has been doing my hair for over 10 years. She has done amazing formal updo's for me. She doesnt charge a lot at all either. For formal updo's I have gone in with a certain style in mind and she goes above and beyond on the style.Once I have my headpiece I'll be going in for trials. She doesnt charge for trials either.

I had Jennifer from Fairytale Makeovers do both my hair and makeup. I went with her for a few reasons. First, I had heard such great things about her work, which I found to be true. Second, I didn't think to attempt to look for a hair person until maybe 3-4 months bevore the wedding, and she was the first person I called, and she still had the day open (Friday wedding, maybe that's why). I didn't call anyone else because I knew I had one of the best.

Thanks ladies for responding. Im going to call aorund and see who has my date open..does anyone else have any suggestions? Can anyone tell me what Denise Venti does differently than other stylists? Thanks so much!!

Hi...I still haven't gone for my trial yet, but if all goes well, I'm going to have Cactus Salon do my hair and makeup...the location on Old Country Road. I go in a few weeks for my trial...I'll let you know how it goes.

I am using Jillian from Gorgeous Faces. She does makeup and has another woman do hair. I had my trial and she was GREAT--highly recommend her!!!!
