Spinach dip in a bread bowl
Hello ladies
I want to make spinach dip - I am going to buy a round loaf of bread and scoop out the middle, add the dip to the center.
Any good recipes for spinach dip?

Re: Spinach dip in a bread bowl
I second the recipe on the back of the Knorr vegetable soup box. I believe that is where the spinach dip recipe came from. I know that you will need a box of that soup, frozen spinach, sour cream, mayo, scallions, and water chestnuts. I love that dip!

I alos vote for the Knorrs recipe. Another hint is that if you are dieting you can substitute lighter/low fat versions of the mayo and sour cream. Everyone still enjoys it and it's probably a little healthier.

Re: Spinach dip in a bread bowl
another hint is to maybe toast the hollowed pieces of bread just a little, sometimes they are too soft and break off in the dip.
yabbo - you really can't tell the diff between the lighter version and the fatter version, I think it's because that mix is so good....
