Bubble Advice

Hi Folks: I don't remember if I posted this before. If you wish to use bubbles at the church, (which by the way the priest at my church said they look so beautiful on the videos), don't buy the bubbles with the doves on them! Most of them can't be opened because they are jammed on the bottle. My sister went and ordered me new ones (the churches), which I didn't get, they sent the little wedding cakes. They are awesome! I put a little navy ribbon around them and a little note tag. They look so pretty and they twist open. If you are considering them, buy the twist tops, not the pop tops. Just an FYI

THE MARIOTT HAS BRUNCH FOR MOTHER'S DAY(AND EVERY SUNDAY). I THINK WE ARE JUST GOING TO GO TO RUNYON'S ITS IN SEAFORD AND THEY HAVE ONE IN EAST MEADOW (NEVER BEEN TO THAT ONE). WE GO ALL THE TIME AND THE FOOD IS GOOD.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a big animal activist. In fact, I wanted to do this as well. But after everything I've read, I've come to learn that this is just a bad thing to do.

Kate,

Can you tell me what you put on the note tag? And also, where did you buy the ribbons and note tags? Thanks.

Now on to the other million and a half details....

Bubble Advice

Hi:-)

An example of a bubble tag saying is:

Blow bubbles of good wishes at the new Mr. & Mrs. John and Mary May 27, 2000

Bubble Advice

My sister bought the bubbles and tied simple navy ribbon on them from Michaels Crafts. She printed a page of tags in word. Put a border around it, typed in "Blow bubbles of wishes for the new Mr.& Mrs." and then cut them out. I was going to get them from Stephanie on her, but my sister bought them first. Stephanie has the tags I believe.

Thanks so much- it really is a helpful board- Stacy

I would get them from the same place for two reasons: the photog & video know eachother's working style, and you'll probably get a better price, If you don't like their style, then consider going elsewhere. I read a posting once that suggested going with two different places so you don't put all your eggs in once basket. I don't think that should be a problem when you're going with a reputable studio.

Bubble Advice

It is actually very easy to print out the tags on your computer and just cut them and punch holes in them and buy some pretty ribbon to loop through the hole and tie around the bubble bottle.

It's a great project to get some of your bridesmaids/friends to help with:-)

Good luck, Stephanie
