While we're on the topic ... can anyone recommend a good breeder for pugs? Or

recommend a place to start looking for one? I'm a little leary of internet sites w/o a recommendation & am not sure how to start. We'd like to get 2 sometime after the baby comes.

I would love to use that as an excuse to go ... but .... DH does do some traveling in California from time to time. Where are they located? Would you mind fm'ing me any info?!

Christine - I will see if I can find out something for you. My friend has a pug (she just bought it like 1-2 years ago) and knows a lot of info on them because she was very seriously considering breeding hers.

why dont you search the AKC website
they only name reputable breeders

Irene .... Baby & dogs ... can you believe it?! I must be nuts. But we've been waiting a long time & I've been promising Vinnie that we'd do it this summer, but with everything else going on .... you know how the weeks fly. We'll be starting the kitchen soon & then the baby will be here. I said that I would consider it at the end of my maternity leave when things have calmed down a little.

we got our dog (not a pug) at home of the Puppies in Flushing...but they offer a 5 year guarantee on the puppies for genetic problems...
