Question about groomsmen in the military

Question about groomsmen in the military

We will have a Marine groomsman and a Coast Guard groomsman. Do they wear their uniforms, or do they wear tuxes so that they match the other groomsmen???

I think they have the option of either, but I think it is up to you.

One of our groomsmen is in the Navy but he will be wearing a tux for our wedding. I think he would have the option to wear it if he were the groom, however, I prefer that he wear a tux for our wedding.

my Fiance is a Coast Guard Reservist, but we are not doing a military wedding. However his buddy from boot camp, ask us if he can be our First Mate. It's a huge honor and he will come in full uniform (white gloves and all,,,,,this is really only worn for the president and funerals)...and represent the Coast Guard.

its whatever you want...

if you like the look you can ask them if they want to wear their formal uniform...but otherwise tuxes are fine for them...

I went to a wedding where the groom was in the military as were some of the groomsmen. Those that were in the military wore their formal uniforms the other groomsmen wore tuxes. It looked fine. It's really up to you!

My brother is in the Army and will be in our BP, I would like him to wear a tux so as not to take attention away from FH. I think he may wear his uniform for his own wedding though.
