Baby/dating photo montage for video! please help!

Ladies, I figured I'd throw this question out there and see what I get back.

FH and I can have 20 pictures in our baby/dating photo montage for our video. How do I go about breaking it up? Should I do 7 baby pics each and 6 dating pics OR should I do 8 baby pics each and 4 dating pics? Should it be more baby pics or more us pics?

How did you or would you break them up? Please help, I'm going to meet with videographer tonight and I brought a stack of pics to work to sort through (have no time to go home)...

Also any song selection ideas for baby pics?! I did a search already and read EVERY thread I found but nothing is very helpful....

I think we will do 1 or 2 baby pics of us, 1 as a toddler for each of us, 1 as a teenager for each of us and then the rest will be us together. We also have 20 pics.

We did 5 baby pictures each of us and then 10 of the two of us. It was perfect!

I was planning on doing 7 of each and then 6 of us together. I have a lot more years of growing up then being together. I figure 7 would be good to show 26 years of life.

Kelly, how did you break up your baby pics? I know these are stupid questions, but I can't decide from my pictures...

1 infant, 2 toddler, elem? and did you go as far as teenage years? I have no pics of myself from 15-19 unless it's in a group of a lot of people... UGH! I should've done this days ago, but I totally forgot!

Kathy, I was planning on the 7 thing too, just not sure how I should break up the years...

I did one pictures for each stage of life. For mine I did newborn, toddler, Kindergarden, one from Seventh grade and another from High School. I met my DH shortly after high school, so I didn't feel the need to put any from after high school. I did about the same for DH.

We were told 7 of each of us growing up. 7 of us dating (we have 8 can't decide between two) and 7 from our honeymoon.

we didn't have a limit...but I would want to include more of the 2 of you...than the growing up ones...5-5-10 or 6-6-8

Anyway, I think we did like 10 growing up pictures of each of us thru the years. Started with pictures as babies and progressively getting older, including embarrassing 80's guido pictures! Then we did 10 if dating from our first picture to an engagement picture - we did mostly fun pictures that show our personalities! I used In My Life by the Beatles.

We had a 20 photo limit too. Ours was 7 of him as a baby (and older kid), 7 of me, and then 6 of us dating, including the picture of him down on one knee proposing to me.

For our song, we used 'The Luckiest' by Ben Folds.
