Ceremony site suggestions-- not church or reception hall
Hi, does anyone have a suggestion of where I can have my ceremony but not in church or at my hall. I tried the Sheraton in Hauppauge but they wanted $3000 for a half hour & I just can't afford to do that. Thanks!!

Just curious...why not have it at your hall? I am, and people keep saying how much they like it because they just have to go to one place and there is no lag in between.

We were going to book Planting fields. It is so beautiful, we decieded not to because I was nervous that it would rain considering it would be outside. You have the cermony in the formal rose garden.

In Sayville, on Broadway Avenue there is a little white church on town of islip property, The Grange, and you need to have someone come in to marry you. The only thing is it is small. Also you can try the Vanderbilt Museum, but if it rains, you will need a tent and it is 1,000 just for the site fee, then you need to get chairs, a tent and a pa system.
The other place I heard about was at CW Post they have a an interfaith chapel, which seemed nice, but it was too far form my reception location.
I also contacted unitarian churches in Bellport and Smithtown too.

This is not a church it is just a place you can rent to have your ceremony.
Hope that helps.
