FLOWERS - Questions for this weekend

I am going to meet with a few florists this weekend and I am not really sure how it works.
Do I have to pick out my flowers now, or do we just discuss ideas? How do they know to give me a quote unless they know exactly what I am getting?

its pretty general don't worry! how many people in the Bridal party/family (men&women), how many tables you expect, color scheme is good if you have one, but nothing is written in stone. They suggest types of flowers, you look in albums and they get a feel from there and determine a price for you (high centerpiece v. low centerpiece, etc).

I just started myself - its really pretty fun. FH actually enjoyed it as well.

Hi :) Good Luck selecting a florist. When I was looking for my florist I went to the appointment with some ideas. For example, I knew I wanted lillies and orchids. I asked to look at pictures of their work. I am not sure who you have appointments with. I booked with Jack and Rose and he is very knowledge and presented my fiance and I with many creative ideas. You meet him at the first appointment and then you have several design sessions with him to discuss your bouquet, centerpieces etc. My friend used him for her wedding last year at the VIP country club. The floral arrangements were beautiful. She told me he was very helpful, creative, responsible and caring. That was very important to me and my fiance. Good luck with your appointments.
