Re: Silly question regarding unity candle.....

You can get them online (theknot.com, etc) or at craft stores - Michael's, Patchogue Floral, etc. I made mine b/c I couldn't find one I liked. I bought an ivory candle and tied navy ribbon on it using the ezbow maker.

Re: Silly question regarding unity candle.....

I got one off ebay for $30. I liked the style so I don't know if that was a bad price - I didn't care.

The church normally does not provide it. I don't know if it's traditional if someone in your family gives you one or not. I bought mine b/c I liked it so much.

Yes you have to buy the holders too I think. Can range in price from free with candle to whatever...depends on what you like. There's alot of websites that sell them....many that do favors also do the candles.

Re: Silly question regarding unity candle.....

I got mine at a Papiere in Broadway mall. I just got the center candle, will have to ask Deacon about the tapers. I didn't like any of the sets.

Re: Silly question regarding unity candle.....

There are a lot of nice ones online or try Michaels or also some florists have them or a Catholic store. Good luck.

The prices are reasonable...
