Advice/Guidance Needed (sad & long)
My aunt (not directly related by blood) has recently found out that she has pancreatic and liver cancer. The dr's can't do anything for her - they gave her 3 to 5 months to live. She's 48 yrs old and has 3 kids.I'd like to send her a card but am not sure what to write exactly. I want to let her know that she is in my thoughts and prayers. Let her know how much she means to me and what a wonderful person she is.
The problem is that I don't want her to get upset or feel sad. It's a weird situation. I am just not sure what to do.

Thats is so terrible. I am so sorry to hear that. I am sending my thoughts and prayers to u and ure family!!!
As for the card thing im not really sure. I think that maybe that might make her realize how great a person u are and how much u love her. maybe that will overcoe the sadness. I dont know

I'd write exactly what you told us, that she is in your thoughts and prayers. Tell her if she needs anything you are there. Maybe offer to take the kids out for the day. I found a florist online that doesn't charge delivery. www.academyfloral.com & www.flowerswhisper.comI ordered from flowerwhisper but got email confirms from academyfloral.

I don't think that you could upset her anymore than she already is...but I would definitely want to tell her how much she has meant...maybe giving specific examples of good times you've had together...I'm sure the cry she will have reading the card (inevitable) won't compare to the love that she feels after reading it!!!

Maybe you can write a pleasant family memory that you have.
