Flower girl gift... I need Ideas!!!

Help! I have 4 flower girls....
8, 7, 5 and 2 And have NO idea what to give them...

I was originally going to give them a necklace or Flower girl mug w/ candy, then I read about a ToysRus Gift card.. Now I dont know what to do...

My sister (mother of the two youngest) said to give them a halloween bucket packed with candy... My aunt.. (Mother of the oldest) said do whatever is cheapest...

Anybody have really good CHEAP ideas that dont LOOK cheap????

Re: Flower girl gift... I need Ideas!!!

I gave them all mirror/brush/comb sets engraved with their names from the knot. Very reasonable. They will feel like litte princeses. Also another option is to get personalized ice cream bowls from lillian vernan and fill them with candy and other things. I did this for all the kids at the wedding and they loved it.

Re: Flower girl gift... I need Ideas!!!

Well I paid $8 for my FG gift BUT it was a deal - I bought her jewlery from Jessica's Wedding & saved $5 on the personalized jewelry box. She's a girly girl so she'll love this.

Re: Flower girl gift... I need Ideas!!!

I gave my girls pearl earrings ($30) and a little gift bag filled with things like crayons, nail polish, stickers, etc.

I'd give them something they can have and keep for the rest of their lives (how about a piece of jewelry in sterling silver or 14k-you could get something off Ebay inexpensive). They may not wear/appreciate jewelry now, but they will when they are older, it'd be perfect combined with something fun for them, maybe not too much candy so they aren't bouncing off the walls, but stickers and kids make up are always fun. Lip gloss and light or clear nail polish are great fun items since they can use it to feel 'bridal'.

I wouldn't go too cheap on the children just because they're young. It'll be nice for them to have a keepsake, and they will appreciate it, as will their parents (they'll appreciate it more when they're older too if it's something they can keep).

Perhaps if they are religious a sterling silver cross pendant or gold cross, or some other pendant that they could where when they are older (lucky charm, flower, star, etc.) and a nice letter from you to go in a scrapbook.

***Also, take some time out while you're getting ready to spend with the kids, and to give them their gifts. This is a big day for them too, and it'll give you some of your most cherished memories.

Re: Flower girl gift... I need Ideas!!!

I just had another idea....how about tickets to the zoo, movies or the museum, and a promise to take them. It'd be a wonderful memory for them and something to look forward to. This, combined with fun little things on the day, would be especially meaningful.

And then for the 5 yr old, I got her ruby stud earrings.

For the 7 (does not have pierced ears) I got her a gold necklace with stones on it.

For the 10 yr old I got amethyst earrings.

I also got them all lip gloss, candy necklace making kit, pocketbooks, coloring books, etc.

Re: Flower girl gift... I need Ideas!!!

I got a few things to give to her. She's only going to be 4 1/2. I got her a rabbit stuffed animal in a pink dress and I am attaching butterfly wings (so it will look like her - she is wearing butterfly wings). I also got her a statue with a volitive hlder for when she is older of a butterfly-girl holding a flower basket, and a necklace wth a rose quartz heart. Oh and those flowegirl t-shirts.

Re: Flower girl gift... I need Ideas!!!

What about a bear from the Build-A-Bear workshop. You can either take them to make their own bear (it's so much fun for kids) or you can make them yourself and give them as the gift. You can pick out outfits for them...dress them up as a bride or groom...something like that.

Re: Flower girl gift... I need Ideas!!!

I saw an adorable bracelet gold with colored ladybugs on it which is really cute. Maybe a cute jewelry box for the older ones? Bridal barbie for the younger ones?
