Is anyone else having a hard time getting in touch with Jennifer from Fairytale Makeovers?

I have emailed her 3 times, with one response saying that will she call me on a certain day and I never heard from her. So I called and left 2 messages and emailed her again. I know she is excellent and I would really like to set up a trial date, but I am getting really frustrated.

PS - I have been trying to set up a trial date since the beginning of August.

I've pretty much given up on getting in touch with Jennifer from Fairytale. I spoke to her a while ago, but she wasn't scheduling appts. for 04 brides, she told me she would pencil in my date and that I should call back in July because by then she'd know whether or not she is available to work on my date. She explained she was having an issue with a sick relative and wasn't sure when she was going to be able to work. Well, July has come and gone and I called her several times and have yet to hear back from her. I understand someone having family issues, but the amount of brides on this board alone that have complained about her inability to return multiple phone calls has made me realize this is more than family issues, it is just plain unprofessional and I really didn't want to do business with her. I don't want that kind of unnecessary stress.

from what i hear - she's near impossible to get in touch with.
i've emailed back and forth with her a few times...and she seems very nice and very busy. apparently has a little one to look after and can only make calls after he's in bed!
i'm going to try to set up an apopintment with her this month....
she also doesn't book too far in advance.

I emailed her 2 days ago about my trial and she hasnt gotten back to me yet. She takes a while to get back to you

I have trials with Danielle Renee and Jacqueline Nicole for next month.


I am kinda annoyed, I feel like a I am stalking the woman. I think I am going to give up and see how these trials go.

I've hired Jacqueline Nicole and Oksana for make-up. JN is doing me plus four girls and Oksana is doing five girls. They are both terrific. I was interested in Jenn from Fairytale only for hair.

I am too. I have e-mailed her twice and called her three times. I have not heard 1 word from her. I give up! I guess I have to look somewhere else. Unfortunately, Denise Venti is booked. I have heard she is amazing. Does anyone have any recommendations?

It has taken me a while to get in touch with Jennifer too. She told me she is holding my date and the last I heard from her she was up to trials for Feb/March 04 brides. Or that is at least what it sounded like from her email. I am June and she told me she wouldn't know about my trial until at least the end of September/early October.

I also wanted to mention JN is doing my make-up and is amazing. Give her a call. I am just using Jennifer for my hair.

I emailed her directly from this site and she got back to me via email in 3 or 4 days. She was very nice and although she is booked for my date, she gave me a list of people she recommends.

I just got a reply from her too. A couple of weeks ago she said she would call me to set up a trial date. (I had given her all my infor). Now she is saying she is not setting up trial dates for Oct 2004 brides yet.

To be honest, I am frustrated.

I had the same experience but she admitted that she couldn't commit and I should call her a few months in advance. I am too retentive so I gave up.

I am happily booking Gina from MagicMakeovers. We had a trial last week and I loved it (first time in my life I've loved hair or makeup). It's a shame she's moving out of town. She's very organized! Luckily, she's going to be in town the weekend of my wedding!

When a hair or makeup artist is good they can pick when they want to work and probably still make money. It's unfortunate that Jen is doing this to the extreme. A bride does not want to worry about someone with hair or makeup expecially if it is for them and their friends/family.

I hope things settle down for her so she can continue making other women happy...

i know how frustrating it can be to not get returned phoe calls or emails, but jennifer really works very very hard, does have a young child at home, and does her best to get back to people.

imagine all the brides on here emailing her. she gets overwhelmed. but she is truely wonderful and worth the wait. i had two trials with her and she (obviously) did my hair and make up for the day of. i couldn't be more pleased with her. she is such a sweet wonderful lady.
