For a Friend, POLL: Who had maids wear black?

Hi girls....my best friends' brother just asked his gf to marry him....and she posted on the knot about having her bridesmaids wear black......does anyone have advice or pics to pass on? Thanx

I was a BM in 2 different weddings...in which we all wore black. We were allowed to chose any dress we wanted, provided it was floor length. It was great...no hassels with finding "the dress". No problems with something that I wasn't comfortable in. I loved it. The pictures...came out great. I don't have any here...but I'll try to find some. Good luck!

i had my girls wear blackdresses that had a little bit of white on top and i was in two weddings where we were black and the other was black and white

That is what I did..I told the girls to pick out a floor length black dress. It looked great and I had 8 girls in the bridal party. They were all different styles and materials. I didn't even see most of the dresses until the day of the wedding. No hassle of getting everybody together since my bridesmaids were from all over and most of the dresses cost less than a bridemaid dress. Hopefully they can wear the dress they picked out again! I thought it worked out perfectly!

My BM's are wearing black- I think it looks great and they are all happy about it!

My MOH is wearing a long black skirt and a strapeless silver kinda gray black top.

What my MOH is wearing! Style 8309

My 4 BMs are wearing black and they can pick out of I think 8 different styles.
They can pick any style, but the dress has to be black.
