Are there any outdoor or indoor picture places near the Milleridge in Jericho?

I'd love to take some pics somewhere else besides the Milleridge...but since we're getting married very early on a Sunday, my choices are limited.

So, this place would have to be really really close...any ideas for me?

Thanks!!!

I have seen Brides take pictures at CW Post college around the mansion and great lawn.

How about the Old Westbury Gardens

Old Westbury Gardens

I know there is a site fee involved but the place is close by and so gorgeous!

It's about a 10-minute drive in traffic.

Re: Are there any outdoor or indoor picture places near the Milleridge in Jericho?

Was thinking about this some more...if my ceremony starts at 11:30 and we'll probably have to be at the Milleridge by 11 to meet with the priest...do you think I can get to CW Post, take some pictures and get back to the Milleridge all within ONE HOUR???

Re: Are there any outdoor or indoor picture places near the Milleridge in Jericho?

If you're only spending about 30-40 minutes taking pictures, yes, you can do it. I take it you're not planning on taking pictures before the ceremony? Or maybe you can take your solo pics there before the ceremony and then do the married pics after - far less pics to take and then you don't feel so rushed.

Re: Are there any outdoor or indoor picture places near the Milleridge in Jericho?

I had my reception at the Milleridge and we took pics at EAB Plaza. It worked out great for us since it was 12/29 and the place was decorated beautifully. We have some wonderful pictures in the garden area that make it look like we got married in Hawaii or something. I didn't look when your wedding is, but EAB is beautiful during the holidays. Plus it is inside and warm!

I'm getting married on 12/7 and that would be great....

Is there a fee for EAB and do I need a permit???

Re: Are there any outdoor or indoor picture places near the Milleridge in Jericho?

CW Post and Old westbury Garden are beautiful. I also recommend SUNY Old Westbury. I work there/here. We have over 600 acres which more than half is undeveloped. We have alot of open green fields, narrow roads with trees that form a canopy over them, horses and stables. If we were getting married in Nassau I'd want to have my pics taken here. We make take our e-pictures here, it will be beautiful once the foliage starts turning.

May I also recommend Hofstra University's campus? Very pretty as well.
