Baby Shower questions...

What is the average # of people that are invited?

What kind of food do you serve? Does it have to be a meal or just finger foods?

Showers can be anything from a BBQ to a formal sit down dinner...
Its really up to you.. There are no 'rules'!

You can invite 10 or 100 people... again depending on how many people you are close to, would like at your special day.

IMO you can do anything you want to do.
I have been to showers with 6 girls and have been to one with over 40 ladies and men..

Like the other ladies said - showers can be anything the host/hostess wants them to be. What's important is to make the guest of honor feel loved and special.

ETA - I lived out of state, so my baby shower was 5 women and me. I think that a good number of people is about 25-30...not too big, not too small. My cousin just had over 60 women at her baby shower, and my Mom said it got soooo boring watching her open gifts for 4 hours!
