What is your favorite book of all time???
My favorite book would have to be by Stephen King. It was called Bag of Bones. Great title right lol.Synopsis
Several years after his wife's death, novelist Mike Noonan still suffers writers block. A dream inspires him to return to the couple's summer retreat in western Maine, a lakeside house called Sara Laughs. Shortly after arriving, Noonan is caught in the middle of a custody battle involving the daughter of an attractive young widow and the child's enormously wealthy grandfather. He also discovers that Sara Laughs is haunted and that his late wife, Joanna, still has something to tell him.
The book was really interesting, and very quick reading....which is surprising for a Stphen King novel.

Re: What is your favorite book of all time???
I love Stephen King books, I've read a lot of his. I think my two favorites are The Eyes of the Dragon (very unpopular but awesome!) and Needful Things. He's amazing.I don't think I can really pick just ONE book to be my favorite, but The Mammoth Hunters by Jean M. Auel is definitely a favorite. I love her books and have read the whole series (I even have the latest one autographed!) but Mammoth Hunters is my favorite. (The series starts with The Clan of the Cave Bear... horrible movie starring Darryl Hannah).
I also really love Great Expectations... classic!
Too many too list!

I think I have to agree with dandj and say The Gold Coast. It was the reason my college roommate and I became friends 9 years ago and it a bond we still have.

I loved bag of bones and Eye of the Dragon. But The Stand is what really got me reading. Four Past Midnight actually had me almost crying while reading the Library Policeman, very sad.
My other all time favorite books are the series by David Eddings. (Belgarath) LOVED Anne McCraffey's Dragons of Pern series!!! Wished Mercedes Lackey could have writen more about the Valdimir world.
Right now Im really into George RR Martin's current series. Song of Ice & Fire series. REALLY great books. Lots of suspense and who dunnit. Good versus bad, conquer and tradition. Even has dragons. Lots of twists in the plot that are unexpected. Better yet this book breaks the rules. Good guys don't always win. Good guys, Im talking main characters that tell the story, die horrible deaths and leave you shocked. What the heck happens next? Im waiting as a matter of fact for the next installment. Im so ticked it was due out in August, then they pushed the release date to September, last I asked it's now been pushed to APRIL!!!

My favorite book changes, because I'm always reading, and finding new favorites! For now, I would say my favorites are 'Madame Bovary' by Gustav Flaubert, and 'The Rapture of Canaan' by Sheri Reynolds.

Re: What is your favorite book of all time???
That's so difficult for me to answer. I used to read all the time, but have had so much trouble finding real time to read ever since law school (4 years ago). However, I'd say off the top of my head my favorite book is 'The Handmaid's Tale' by Margaret Atwood, followed by 'Memoirs of a Geisha.'
