I got a showl from Jessica McClintock (white satin) for $52.00. Just a suggestion as well - thought it was a great price!

I actually purchased a fur capelet (just a cape that goes around your shoulders) from EBAY for $10!!!!!!

We haven't quite figured out that part yet--we just got enaged Sept. 20. I'm looking at sites this weekend.

franksbride....what did you search under to find it?? I was thinking of having my FMIL make something, but that would be worth the convenience....$10....sheesh!!!

USUK2004--The reception will be at Wyndham Wind Watch in Hauppauge--The have a HUGE ballroom (fits 650 seated) and only have 1 wedding at a time. It's great for large weddings.

BTW--Congrats on your engagement!

I had a cape made off of ebay, I sent them the picture of teh one from princess brides and had it made for me, I just got it yesterday and it is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Im not at home otherwise id posta pic, its gorgeous though, I got it for 170!!! they said it would take 3 weeks and it took them 3 months, but it is worth it!! i love it!!

--Thanks for the congrats!! We're doing things super fast because we've got immigration issues. It's a little crazy

We're looking at Miller Place Inn, Smithtown Landing, Raphaels & Watermill this weekend. All pretty close to my mom & dad's.
