Do you think it's rude of my SIL to not even acknowledge my bridal shower?
My brother & his wife live in Arizona. My shower was last weekend and I didn't even get a phone call, much less a gift from her. Also, my two nieces (their daughters) are my FGs and I found out that their dresses were delivered on Tuesday and my SIL didn't even call me to tell me! Ugh!!!!!

that is rude!
maybe something happened?
can you call to find out if everything is right....and then if it is and she's just rude, casually mention that you hoped everything was ok since you didn't hear from her.....

It is but there is nothing you can do, not one single one of my SIL came to my shower but I survived, the people that attended were the people that loved and cared about me. I know it would be nice to have her be as excited for you, but such is life, you cannot let anyone steal your joy. This is a happy time in your life. If she chooses not to participate it will be her loss. You only get married once.

You're right. I guess I was offended that she didn't even contact me. I was even kind of bothered by some friends who didn't come to my shower. You can't take it personally though!

she did give my a fartsy old nightgown a few days before the wedding...
