Need creative ideas for a shower gift....for triplets!!!

Need creative ideas for a shower gift....for triplets!!!

More specifically, I already bought the gift for my friend's shower: I'm making a basket of things to include little socks, onesies, washclothes, etc for my friend who's expecting 3 little GIRLS!

I want to do (or make) a little something to add to the basket to signify the triplets - does that make any sense? Something crafty that I can hang off the basket of add inside that will be cute to open at the shower.

I just cant think of any good ideas that won't cost too much money since I already bought the main gift.

Any suggestions?

What about 3 little boo boo bunnies? All you need are 3 washclothes, ribbon and pink and black felt for the nose/eyes. (I wouldn't use anything but felt for eyes b/c those googley eyes can be a choking hazard!)

You also have find the non-toxic (plastic) re-freezable ice cubes.

Claud how cute are those?!?!? Did you make those? I LOVE THEM!

I have an idea....do you know how to knit? Or crochet? Isnt' there a poem - three little kittens, that lost their mittens. I don't remember the whole thing - but baby mittens are like sock puppets basically - they couldn't be EASIER to make - they are like an oven mitt - no thumb.

You could also just buy little ones anywhere- i bet they are like no more than $5 a pair - maybe old navy or gap kids or something - and you could wrap them in little pink tissue paper with the poem on there....might be cute!

you could also get little bear toys to hang from the handle - as in the three little bears! with pink bows.

Why don't you go to a craft store and buy a little clothes rack (i think that's what they are called) that have 3 hooks. You can paint it pink and do something cute like 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3 under each hook or something cute (I know that's not cut buy hey I try

Maybe you can buy a picture frame and put this poem in it...just an idea. I was looking for gifts for triplets for you. I am going to keep searching!

Dawnie, that is the cutest poem, I love it. Teri, love the idea of the clothes hanger in 3s of clothes or even the little bunnies. It would be cute if they were girl bunnies with pink bows or something.

how about some way to make it nursery rhyme related> 3 blind mice....3 little pigs....3 kittens who lost their mittens...

OR, maybe somehow incorporate 3 peas in a pod? I think Carters makes a toy related to that...or maybe you can make something related to that somehow....
