I asked my brother to walk me down the aisle tonight...

And I cried and cried...

My father has not been in the picture for quite some time and I've known for a long time that I wanted the honors to go to my brother.

He was so touched and told me he's been waiting for me to ask him and that he'd be so honored. Awww.....

That's wonderful!! I'm so happy for you (and him!!) I too will be asking my brother to do me the honor - I'm a little nervous b/c my brother thinks I'm being disrespectful - but I called my dad on Sept 18th when we got engaged and I'm still waiting for him call and congratulate me on my engagement...nothing new - I was just hoping this time it would be different. But I couldn't be happier to have my brother do it!!!!
