Do I need a shawl/wrap for my 9/23 wedding? & I found a website showing weather history
Hi ladies!
I have a strapless dress and am (hopefully) having an outdoor ceremony. I'm thinking that maybe I should ask my seamstress to make me a wrap or something to match my dress in case it's chilly. (Past, present and future Sept. brides - please chime in!)
What do you ladies think? Should I get something to keep me warm, just in case?
Thank you!
Also, I found a website that shows historical temperatures for Central Park. I got it to go back to 2000 for my date. In the past three years, the temp. has averaged 67-70 for 9/23, but it was 62 in 2000.

I wouldn't bother. We were married on 9/21 and it was hot and sunny that day. The dress is very heavy and will keep you warm. And 62 isn't really that cold

I would not worry about it I got married on 9/20/2003 and it was in the 80's, clear and sunny -- and that was the week of the Isabel threat.

Wow - thanks ladies! It looks like I won't need to buy a shawl or wrap after all (and will save some money for a change) - yay!
