Crisis - 11/1/03 bride in search of hair/makeup person to come to her in Queens

My hair and makeup person has cancelled! So, here's my dilema: my wedding is at 11:00 am in Queens and salons are reluctant to open any earlier than 8 for just one person. I also received one price quote from someone that was willing to come to me and it was $450 -- that seems a bit much! If anyone has advice about who to call/contact/beg/plead, could you please let me know as soon as possible? Thank you so much!

I actually have that date booked already for the afternoon but I can do your makeup for the morning..before 9:00 am. And yes, regardless of how desperate you are $425 is crazy!! Where will you be getting ready?
