I know its been discussed here before, but is anyone wearing long, dangling earrings?

My search for the perfect earrings has been my biggest challenge in planning this wedding! I found these GORGEOUS long, chandelier-ish white crystal earrings that I love, but they're not exactly 'classic'. My dress is strapless and is very simple- only a thin band of beading around the waist. I'm wearing my hair in a low bun with a simple crystal/pearl headband. I don't want to look too over the top, and would love to wear the earrings, but do you think it's just not appropriate???

I don't think chandelier earrings are over the top. They're very 'black-tie-affair'ish', IMO.

I plan on wearing them as well...just haven't found THE pair yet.

Marcella & Curly both had pretty chandeleirs.

I wore dangling pearls.

I like them too...but I'd rather stay with the more 'classic' look to go with the dress and ...I'm wearing a dangling pearl

Right now I'm doing some wishful thinking for these gorgeous diamond earrings and matching diamond necklace I saw in my jeweler's...

since your dress is not over the top with beading and such, I say go for the earrings !!!! I love chandelier earrings and think they had a new twist onto the classic wedding gown.
