Baby Shower Gift Idea

I just thought of this idea and might use it for a few upcoming showers.

A Photo Basket: Fill a basket with all sorts of stuff new parents need to take pictures of their kids. Since so many people have digital cameras you can put in computer photo paper, frames, baby photo albums, gift certificate from Sears, JC Penny or any place that does photos of kids (I'm not even sure they offer gift certificates at these places but I figured they would).

You could also put in a few rolls of film, etc.

I just thought it would be something different and they would definitely use that stuff -- at least I think they would.

Anyway -- just thought I would share.

Also another idea I might use is a piggy bank and put 'College Fund' with decorating markers or stickers or something and put in a savings bond or a check, something to get their college fund started. For our friends that we went to college with we would also put our school logo on it too -- since our kids will of course want to follow in our footsteps!

Those are some neat ideas.

The last baby shower I went to. The couple got a video camera, and it came with excellent poem that was read allowed.
