Alright, I don't want to hear 'I told you so..' BUT
I am having dress anxiety!I bought my gown early (I am Nov 04). I tried on like 40 dresses and I only liked 2.
This is the dress that I ordered:
I saw this dress today:

I should have never read the bridal magazine in the doctor's office today! I am sure the Lazaro is super expensive.
I should have waited to order the dress, I can hear all of you saying 'I told you so!'
I think I am just freaking out b/c my dad took pics of me in the first dress and he is a horrible picture taker! I swear every pic he takes of me is unflattering.

The second one is really pretty but so is the first! Call the place you ordered it from! A couple of girls on here have done it!

I think we all go through this a little bit...but stick with what you fell in love with first...I can hardly see it in the pic you posted...but I LOVE pretty much all of the Eve of Milady dresses...

Just because you love the dress in a picture doesnt mean it will look just as good when you try it on. Unless you are going to try it on - i dont think you should fret.

Re: Alright, I don't want to hear 'I told you so..' BUT
i have the same problem.i ordered a dress and i loved it when i tried it on and ordered it...but when i look at pictures - it is so unflattering. but i think once i get one that actually fits it will look better!
did your's come in yet - or are you just relying on pictures?
i'd say stick with your first choice....you ordered it because you loved it....trust your instincts!

Re: Alright, I don't want to hear 'I told you so..' BUT
mine was just ordered in july. when i took the pics i looked horrible seriously, no makeup and hair undone. i think i will delete them so i stop looking at them. i guess that when the dress comes in, in my size, it will look much better!

Re: Alright, I don't want to hear 'I told you so..' BUT
I have a Lazaro, and mine was in the $2,300 range. I looked at another Lazro that was much more, so I think it depends.I think the dress is so important. It wouldn't be a crime if you changed your mind, you certainly wouldn't be the first bride to do that! Why don't you call your bridal salon and ask what their policy is?
What a tough decision!
Good luck!

Re: Alright, I don't want to hear 'I told you so..' BUT
I think the one you put money down on is beautiful...stop looking at magazines!!!
I considered a Lazaro early on - it was a strapless, sheath and was $3200 with a $700 matching mantilla. If you really feel you need to, you can call around and get the pricing on the Lazaro...but I think you should keep your very lovely gown - JMO though.

I LOVE the first one!!! I had the same problem-kept looking at pics with me looking very bad in dress that was too big and got dress anxiety! Definitely stop looking at other dresses!PS-I went to a veil shop today that had Amalia Carrara VEILS! They would match your dress perfectly!

Don't make yourself crazy, the first dress is gorgeous. You will love it when it comes in in your size.

Its totally normal to second guess yourself. I was worried maybe I picked the wrong dress all the way up until the wedding day. Once I put it on that morning, I knew it was the right dress!Welcome New Vendors
